EdukrishBot
EdukrishBot reads public pages published by exam bodies, regulators, universities and scholarship schemes, so students and parents on Edukrish see current dates, eligibility and fees with a link back to the official source.
How it behaves
- It identifies itself as
EdukrishBot/1.0 (+https://edukrish.com/bot). - It follows robots.txt. A page your robots.txt disallows is never fetched, and the source is switched off on our side.
- It reads each page at most once every few days, one request at a time, and stops after repeated errors.
- It only reads public pages. It never signs in, fills in forms or downloads anything behind a login.
- It doesn't copy your pages. It records short facts (a date, a fee, an eligibility rule) with a link to the page they came from.
How to block or limit it
Add this to your robots.txt to block it completely:
User-agent: EdukrishBot Disallow: /
To report a problem, correct a fact, or ask us to stop reading your site, write to hello@edukrish.com with “EdukrishBot” in the subject. We'll act on it within two working days.
