How we check every fact before you rely on it.
A wrong deadline or fee can cost a student a year. So nothing important reaches you on the word of one robot: it is collected from the official page, then confirmed by a separate check — and by a person when a machine can't be sure.
Six layers of checks
1. Collected only from official pages
EdukrishBot reads pages published by exam bodies, regulators, universities and scholarship schemes. Each fact is stored with the exact sentence it came from and a link to the page. Facts whose sentence isn't on the page are refused.
2. Checked again, separately
A separate checker (EdukrishVerifier), which shares no code with the collector, re-opens the official page itself — including PDFs — and confirms that the quoted sentence, the name, and every date, amount and fee are really there.
3. Cross-checked against official lists
Colleges are matched against official recognition lists such as NIRF, and against UGC's published list of fake universities. Where a second official page exists (an exam's main site as well as its notice), we check that it agrees.
4. A person decides what the machine can't
New exams and scholarships, and colleges that aren't on an official list we hold, are held back until confirmed. Some official sites block automated reading; facts from those wait for a person on our team to open the page and confirm them.
5. Re-checked on a schedule
Dates and scholarship amounts are re-checked every week, exams every ten days, courses and fees every two weeks, and colleges every three weeks. A check older than 60 days no longer counts, and anything that changes is re-checked first.
6. Open about mistakes
Every page has a “Report a problem” link that reaches a person. When we remove or correct something visitors could see, it goes in our public corrections log with the reason.

What the labels mean
- Verified: Our independent check found it on the official page, and a second official source or a person on our team confirmed it.
Found on the official page by our separate check, and confirmed again by a second official source, an official list, or a person on our team.
- Checked on the official site: Our independent check re-opened the official page and found this there.
Our separate check re-opened the official page and found the information there.
- Awaiting our check: Collected from an official page; our independent check hasn't confirmed it yet, so key numbers and dates are held back.
Collected from an official page, but not confirmed yet. Until it is, we don't show its dates, amounts, deadlines or fees — we send you to the official page instead.
- If the check finds a problem — the page is gone, the source isn't official, or a college appears on UGC's list of fake universities — the record is hidden until a person has looked at it. A date the official page doesn't show is never shown here.
What we never do
- We never show a date, fee or amount that our check hasn't found on the official page.
- We never let anyone pay to be listed, ranked or recommended.
- We never guarantee admission, visas, scholarships or jobs. Always confirm on the official website before you apply or pay.
Spotted a mistake?
Tell us. A person checks every report against the official source, and fixes are listed in the corrections log.
