The usual route in India
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Engineering, often followed by a Master's in Data Science, Statistics or Analytics.
Other routes: Commerce students with strong Mathematics can move in via Economics or Statistics degrees.
